Waste bin design

London-based designer Samuel Wilkinson, has launched a new set of recycling storage for the home. Made from powder coated aluminium, each bin has a flush lid with a green colored handle tab to indicate the various materials destined for the containers: paper, glass, metal and plastic. Standard paper bags which are found at many retailers, can be used inside the bins, thus continuing the process of recycling. The containers are meant to promote domestic recycling, but can also be used for other household storage.

Designer Wang Yixing, has created the No.5065 Scooter, that folds down into a compact and portable tube, so compact that it can actually be purchased from a vending machine.
